Karina Burgess-Streeter, President
Karina Burgess-Streeter is a high-school administrator and has served in education for over 16 years.
She has earned a Bachelor in English Literature from Fordham University, a Master in the Art of Teaching from the University of South Florida, and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. Her passion is teaching all students and showing each child how to achieve their dreams.
Gibran Washington, Community Advisor
Executive Administrator with proven sales success in the restaurant industry, a career spanning over 14 years. Gibran Washington is known as a turnaround strategist with a track record of spotting operational deficiencies, executing action plans, repairing brand image, and creating long-term customer satisfaction. He demonstrates a history of leadership in building and managing cohesive teams, driving profit increases, and reducing costs. Furthermore, he has become an expert in conflict resolution through building and managing teams with efficient and cohesive leadership strategies.
Tonya Floyd, STEM Liaison
Tonya Floyd is a graduate of Ramstein High School, a Department of Defense school in Ramstein, Germany. She went on to graduate from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) earning a Bachelor's in Psychology and Biology and becoming an active member of the Delta Sorority. Later, Tonya decided to go back to school where she received her Master's in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University.
Tonya comes with a wealth of knowledge in the educational arena. She has worked for the Department of Juvenile Justice and Hillsborough schools (ranging from K-12) for over 23 years. She currently is the STEM Liasion for a high school in Tampa, Florida.
Her passion in life is to assist students in finding their individual academic pathways, encouraging them to become their best selves and true positive assets to society.
Gavin C. Lewis Sr, Senior Consultant
Gavin C. Lewis has a passion for equity and social justice within the education system. He has served as a teacher, school administrator, central office administrator, and business consultant. Within those roles, he was responsible for the implementation of a variety of educator effectiveness, school improvement, professional development, and business development initiatives. Mr. Lewis is the CEO and Founder of the ISG Group (The International Solutions for Growth Group) that focuses on consulting, development, management of educational organizations.
Mr. Lewis served as a Consultant for Xavier University of Louisiana Division of Business and was the Director of Business Operations and Player Personnel for 1 Sports Agency. Mr. Lewis was also a successful school leader for multiple traditional public and charter schools in southeastern Louisiana. He is well versed in the non-profit/private sector, having served as the Executive Assistant to an Executive Director, and himself being a successful Executive Director. He is a Certified NFLPA Contract Advisor who has negotiated multi-million dollar contracts for NFL players.
